Everyone deserves to feel clean, confident and healthy. Yet, across Ireland, individuals and families are forced to go without everyday essential hygiene items, such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste and other personal care products.

At Hygiene Hub, we work with community groups across Ireland to get essential hygiene products to those who may otherwise go without. To meet this need, we partner with companies that want to make a practical difference in their communities,

Volunteer with Hygiene Hub

Employees can spend a morning or afternoon volunteering alongside the Hygiene Hub team at one of our storage and distribution facilities.

Activities may include:

Sorting donated products
Packing deliveries for Community Partners
Stock management and organisation

This activity provides employees with direct insight into the operational side of our work and the scale of demand for hygiene items across Ireland.

Employee Packing Session

Make your next corporate event count by bringing your team together for a hands-on volunteering experience where employees assemble hygiene kits that will be distributed through Hygiene Hub’s network of Community Partners.

This session includes:

A short presentation on Hygiene Hub and hygiene poverty in Ireland
Team-based packing activity
Impact reporting following the event

We will work with you to create a meaningful volunteering experience for participants while maximising impact for the communities we support.

Employees can support Hygiene Hub by collecting essential hygiene products within their workplace over a 2-4 week period.

We will provide boxes, posters, infographics and anything else you may need. Simply select a time period, set up a box(es) in an accessible location and ask all employees to donate items, which we collect on the last day of the event.

This is a simple yet effective way for employees to make a tangible difference to people experiencing hygiene poverty in their communities.
